Just got back from a European vacation (my first!). I bought these popout maps for all the cities we went to: Barcelona, Paris, Nice and Rome. A big help in getting a grip on the layout of each city. The Metro system stops are mapped on the back. Major attractions and hotels dotted on the map. The maps fit in a jean pocket, 1/4 thick, very portable. Ours were much used in each city. A good purchase for the traveler. Will be my first purchase when I travel again to new cities.Product details

2. Maps enthusiasts can find it 'rigid' when it comes to high-scale detail
3. Not updated - last publication is in 2011, e.g. lacks information around Poblenou neighbourhood, etc, but still fine for the centre where you will probably spend most of the time
We will going to Spain this Fall so looking forward to using it with our itinerary. Small and easy to carry
This is the 3rd PopOut map I own and have used for European cities. They are accurate, easy to use and stow in a pocket, like in cargo pants. The index can be a hand tool too to find a particular street.
This map works better than a phone ap because you can readily see the relationship of a wide range of places to one another. Because it is truly pocket size due to the clever way it folds, it can be used inconspicuously. If you can't read small print, it is not for you.
I have several of the Popout Maps and like all of them. This one gives good general maps of the city and region as well as more detailed maps of the central city and the old city. The index gives map locations for streets, places of interest, museums, and modern buildings. The unique pop-out design enables so many things to be combined in such a small size. It slips easily into my purse for quick use. Best of all, it's fun to pull it out and pop it open!
